We had requested a brief write-up of the Asheville Carrabba's, sited on a hill overlooking I-240 just east of downtown. It isn't easy to find but well worth the effort. Asheville's Carrabba's is popular! So popular, in fact, that we strongly recommend you go early (around 5p weekdays) or be prepared for a lengthy wait Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. But, then, if your companions are sufficiently entertaining, it really doesn't matter if you have to wait for a table.

Welcome to Our House
Ciao and welcome to Carrabba's where you can enjoy a casual dinner in a warm, festive atmosphere. Discover a variety of fresh, handmade Italian dishes cooked to order in our lively exhibition kitchen. At Carrabba's you'll experience flavorful foods prepared just for you and find hospitality our passion.
Join us any night for our house specialties including crispy calamari, chicken marsala, tender filet, unique pasta dishes and handmade pizzas baked in our wood-burning oven. But your Carrabba's experience is not complete until you've "Tasted the Thrill of the Grill!" Fresh fish, seafood and meats basted with our special seasonings, grilled to your liking over our wood-fired grill and served with a variety of homemade sauces. Magnifico!
For our "bambini" (younger guests) we offer a special menu including pasta, chicken fingers and kid-size pizzas. We also offer pizza dough to our bambini for their entertainment (and yours). Children are always welcome at our house!

Johnny and Damian's high standards of quality and desire to make customers feel as though they are guests in the home of good friends led to the tremendous success of Carrabba's.
After many travels to the Houston area, Carrabba's caught the attention of Aussie-themed Outback Steakhouse, Inc. A joint venture partnership was formed in January of 1993. Under the joint partnership, 10 locations were opened in Houston and in Florida. In January, 1995, Outback Steakhouse, Inc. acquired the rights to develop Carrabba's nation wide. There are currently over one hundred Carrabba's Italian Grill locations.
