Freewheelers of Spartanburg

The Freewheelers of Spartanburg, Inc. is a not-for-profit bicycle organization focusing on bicycle related activities in the upstate of South Carolina. They have events to suit the beginner as well as the long distance rider. They have an active racing, touring, mountain biking and brevet schedule. Currently the Club has over 350 members ranging in ages from 17 to 70. Though the majority of members are from the upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina, membership reaches as far south as Pembroke Pines, Florida and Houston Texas, as far west as San Diego, California and as far north as Gloucester, Massachusetts.

Upstate Mountain Bikers Association

Currently, activities are centered on Croft Park - including planning and building bike trails - but activities include the mountains of the Upstate and Western North Carolina.
