Learning Community, The

The Learning Community is an independent, innovative school for Kindergarten through eighth grade students, located on a beautiful 600-acre campus near Black Mountain, North Carolina.

Founded in 1996 by a small group of parents and a teacher from Warren Wilson College, yhey strive to create and maintain a cooperative school for children in which experiential education is integrated with outdoor education, the creative arts, and community service.
