Haywood Community College Gardens - Clyde

Actually the campus sports a variety of gardens: dahlias, rhododendrons, roses ... even dwarf conifers. By special arrangement they will even let you in the greenhouse. They maintain an experimental orchard as part of their horticultural complex and, if you are into forestry, they would be most happy to tell you about their 300+ acre experimental/teaching forest. At 185 Freedlander Drive. Take I-40 exit 27 toward Waynesville, then the very next exit for Clyde. Open 7a - 11p Mon-Fri; 7a-4p Sat. 828-627-2821 or 828-627-4640
