Schiele Museum of Natural History - Gastonia NC

Some four centuries of American Indian history (principally the Catawbas) is exhibited in a reproduced Catawba village. Other exhibits portray 18th century life (e.g. backcountry farm buildings). There is also a planetarium on the premises. From Charlotte, take I-85 South to exit #20 (New Hope Rd). Drive south to Garrison Boulevard and turn right. The museum is at 1500 East Garrison (on the right) in Gastonia. Phone 704-866-6900
