options. We have great access to the high seas of the Atlantic - or the more sedate Inland
Waterway. Then there are the tide-water rivers and bays - most of our rivers are navigable
many miles upstream. Our smaller rivers and creeks are ideal for canoes and kayaks and you
will find many camping spots accessible from the water. |
Fresh-water
lakes abound - from tiny fish holes to the immense stretch of the Savannah River
impoundments. And the fishing is great! Some of our boat ramps are so popular you
have to wait in line. But because we have so many boat ramps, most are open - just waiting
for you. But the boat ramp is just the beginning. We have fascinating lakes - lots of
them. And the fishing is absolutely great! |
