Lick Fork Lake USFS Campground Lick Fork Lake USFS Campground has ten campsites on a bluff overlooking the 12 acre reservoir with hand-operated water pumps. Pit toilets are spaced around the area. Picnic area also available plus hiking trails, swimming beach (with bath house and cold showers) and boat ramp. Pay the $7 camping fee at the drop-in box (monitored daily). Near Colliers. Take SC-23 West from Edgefield about 9 miles to SC-230. Turn left on SR-263 (South) and go another half mile (watch for sign). Strom Thurmond Lake. Recently they added a small campground. Near Modoc on US-221 just south of town.
